The Jefferson Jackson (JJ) Dinner will be held in Gillette on Sept. 24th. This is a Wyoming State Democratic event. If you are interested in going and meeting the people running the party please plan to attend this event! The JJ Dinner is at the Clarion Inn in Gillette. Reservations, can be made by calling 800-686-3368.
The Campbell County Democratic Chair has a bet with Sheridan County. They are betting that they will have more people in attendance then we will. (This is the middle of Mike Enzi-land!) We think “we” can win this bet. One keg of beer is riding on Sheridan County having a strong showing - so please, help us out and attend!
The keynote speaker is California Congressman: Mike Honda. The dinner will cost $60.00. The Sheridan County Democratic Party is offering a few tickets at a reduced cost of $20.00. If you would like to attend but cannot afford to any other way, please contact Terry Ungricht at ungricht@bresnan.net. We are encouraging individuals to carpool to the dinner and possibly share a room. The cheapest rooms I have found in Gillette are at the Best Value Inn or the National 9 Hotel from $56.00 a night (slightly cheaper for AARP, Senior Discount, or Corporate rate).
